There are so many people I know right now, myself included, who know something new is coming.
We are listening for the clues, following paths that shift perspective, circumstance and energy—and sometimes wind back around themselves to where we began.
We are waiting. Cultivating patience.
In the in-between place, sometimes our monkey-minds get the better of us sparking fear and anxiety.
Then we remember that it’s OK to trust, sit in the dark, and even find pleasure there.
As one of my clients declared, ‘It seems we are in a liminal epoch!’
The Liminal card came to me strongly this past week.
In March I left my beloved home in London unsure if and how I would be able to go back. At the moment of this writing, I’m in my previous home of 30 years, Santa Fe, New Mexico—going through the last of my things in a storage here.
Things?
Photographs of my wedding, my babies, me and my old boyfriends. The clothes I hand-knit for my children when they were little; their toys and books. Rocks and feathers I collected; artwork and personal talismans I’ve carried. Some I’m still keeping; much of it is going.
My task has been to bring to closure my life here without clarity of where my home will be, or when I will know.
Excruciating.
Liberating.
And then The Liminal card itself appeared in two of my client sessions this week.
Here is some of their wisdom that came through in our sessions:
‘Impatience is the enemy of the liminal.’
‘When are we not in the liminal? The uncomfortableness is always part of the journey.’
‘I feel simultaneously When is this going to be over??? and OMG the potential is so exciting!’
I have been sitting with a question, one that I’ve been offering to my community, as well as letting it stir within myself:
If you knew you were being guided, and trusted in abundance, what would you love to slow down and attend to—for the next twelve months?
One answer from a client was,
‘To offer myself the generosity of time to not know.’
🌀P.S. I will indeed be going back to the UK in August. Stay tuned for more!
A Practice for You ~ The Liminal
I’d love to hear what you experience from this practice. Let me know!
If you knew you were being guided, and trusted in abundance, what would you love to slow down and attend to—for the next twelve months?
I offer this question as an inquiry for you to explore—and an invitation.
My 12-month journey for women, Ready to Bloom, is now enrolling, and there’s space for just three more women (for a total of five).
This will be an intimate, embodied, spiritual, practical, and very feminine journey.
It has two parts:
1. Gentle, skilled, and attuned 1:1 guidance from me so you can trust your desire and embody your authentic feminine power—and your Essence (your creative life force that expresses in all that you do).
2. A women’s circle, that includes you and your cohort of companions on parallel paths of this journey.
And a bonus part: I’ll teach you the principles of the Priestess of the Yin: how to hold highly skilled space for those you love and lead, with somatic, energetic and psycho-spiritual tools that create a potent field for healing and transformation.
We’ll also be using the Power of the Yin Oracle Deck throughout; each of the 58 cards will guide us in the initiations of the Yin: Essence, Mystery, Creativity, Sovereignty.
The Power of the Yin Oracle Deck is at the printers as we speak: 500 copies! The box is undergoing an upgrade, and the cards will be the same gorgeous, silky, high quality as the previous print runs. You don’t need to wait—you can preorder the deck right now.

Beautiful reflection on navigating liminal times in a culture that does not tolerate them so easily. Such power in being able to sit in the uncertainty, which I also feel there is a lot more of to come.
I recognise this space very well Daven - it has been 2 years. I wish I new something new was coming!
